Where’s Baby B: Coombs, British Columbia

It was a beautiful day, so we decided to take the 40 minute drive from Nanaimo to Coombs, British Columbia. Coombs is a touristy community about 10 minutes outside Parksville, BC. Famous for it’s goats on the roof (Yes you read it right, real goats live on the roof of the old country market), it’s the perfect stop enroute to Tofino.

There are a number of stores to buy unique local artist products and a farmers market for locally grown produce. It’s also the best place to grab an ice cream.

  1. Goats on the roof totally reminds me of a place in Door County, Wisconsin! Al Johnson’s restaurant – people just love seeing goats on roofs! :)
